Sue's Notes
April 2009
Last week I returned from a whirlwind getaway for 2.5 weeks in Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps, and Los Angeles, including the beautiful Portofino Yacht Club at Redondo Beach where I had an ocean side suite. I spent an entire day with Neale Donald Walsch, author of Conversations with God, then on to hear nearly 20 fabulous speakers over the next few days at the luxurious Paris Hotel in Las Vegas with iLearning Global. We heard inspirational stories and secrets of success from the likes of Tony Alessandra, Ivan Misner, Bill Bartmann, Chet Holmes, Rhonda Johnson, Dan Caro, Garrett Gunderson, John Gray, Dan Clark, and Brian Tracy. This definitely set the tone for our four-day ERS with David Neagle at Caesar's Palace before heading to our first Millionaire Protégé Club retreat with Alexandria Brown and James Roche. Truly, my life will never be the same.
But that doesn't mean that I didn't take time out for fun...if you watched the Ellen DeGeneres show on March 31st, you may have seen me sitting in the front row - or should I say dancing in the front row?
I learned so much and I am still in the process of absorbing everything I witnessed and soaked in...but I keep coming back to one comment from Mr. Walsh, and I'd like to share that with you. Because as we change and grow, and yes we do that every day, life can become overwhelming. In fact, at times it can be terrifying as we step out of our comfort zone and into the unknown. "Remember that very often when life seems to be falling apart, it may actually be falling together for the first time." That comment is soothing...and keeps me in that wondrous place of expectation and possibility.
When you step into your change and uncertainty, keep those words in mind...for the possibilities are endless.
Write on...
