Sue's Notes
August 2009
I've just spent a glorious week in the Muskoka's, relaxing, unwinding, and simply being. No
computers and only a few phone calls to make sure the kids at home were doing okay. And we took a few hours to "Walk in the Clouds" in Haliburton (that's my husband, Dave, and I walking about 20 metres above the forest floor - wonderful - and a bit scary).
Over the last couple of years, my holidays have been combined with workshops and business retreats that have kept me hopping - and I've met a lot of amazing people along the way. But with our hectic lives these days, I strongly recommend a getaway where you can re-connect with you - and just "be." That is the biggest form of luxury - and it doesn't have to cost a lot.
Now I feel like I'm on track to take on the exciting adventures coming my way, which includes my Millionaire Protégé Club Retreat with Ali Brown in Marina del Rey next month and Ali's Shine event in Las Vegas in November (if you haven't checked this out, you won't want to miss it: http://www.autowebbusiness.com/app/?af=1020226.
Be sure to check out the event below - Rebuilding the Dream - taking place this fall in Hamilton. I've been asked to lead two workshops on "Writing Strategies for Building Your List (with Words for Wealth). Mention Networking Today to get the earliest, early bird discount.
Enjoy these last few weeks of summer...take time to relax and just "be." Your business - and your family - will thank you for it!
Write on...
