Why did you choose your line of work? What was the defining moment in your life when you realized that you always wanted to work in your field? What motivates and inspires you?

By creating a story, you are creating an emotional connection.  And this bond can come quicker than meeting in person because you are revealing glimpses of common ground.

Read your bio with fresh eyes.  Is this someone you’d want to work with and get to know better?  Or do you feel you’re reviewing one of many job candidates?
